More Collage Fun

These were a couple of long and narrow canvas's I purchased at Hobby Lobby. I painted them with black and white. I have difficulty figuring out color with black and white photos......

I like this style a lot, but I am not doing that many shows up north any more, so I don't know how much to put into these.

 

I really strayed from my style here, but  I am still learning how I want to do this. I think when all is said and done, I like it.

I am not sure if I combined apples and oranges here, but the message I wanted to get across was home and little girls and their dreams and aspirations.........

I have a big weekend coming up and time seems to get gobbled up even if I get up real early and go to bed real late..........

Last show in West Bend, people really responded to these painted collages, so I am hoping that spending some time developing them pays off. I don't plan on reproducing them.....they aren't standard sizes and I think that people get surprised at how much framing such sizes costs........

Well, don't stop coming to see me just because this is my busiest time.........

where has all the summer gone?

to summer art shows everywhere.....oh, when will I ever learn, when will I e------ver learn? (Peter, Paul and Mary in the background)........ *sigh*

Just got over a 6 shows in eight days run, and Green Lake this last weekend....whew! What a schedule, I am dragging. Got up early and worked hard all day, but little accomplished. Artists can't work like that. I did mostly technical things. Very little art, if any. I hate going to shows without something new.......I have to this time. The only thing is that I haven't been to Eagle River since Artarama and I do have some different things from when I was there........I think........

Saturday was awful hot and we didn't see the people that we normally see. Sunday was better, but my sales were about 50 dollars higher on Sat. I felt busier on Sunday, though.....go figure. This is a fun picture for me because besides them looking at my things, several people are carrying them. One lady on the left has a framed picture and one lady has some shrink wrapped pictures. One lady is purchasing something. How do you like my little flags I sewed to pull the booths together, so that people knew it was the same artist. ?

Well, I don't have much as I leave again tomorrow for Paul Bunyan in Eagle River. I sure wish I had more things to take along........here are a few things I sold over the weekend.....

This was the first one I sold, but like the other one, I took a picture of it before it was completely finished.....

I suppose this blue just doesn't cut it, I have the three blue ones left.......

This one is really blurry, and I didn't realize it or I would have taken another picture. But you get the idea.

This one sold also, and it was one of my favorites I did so far. It was so playful and there is something fun about the old bathing suits.....I am sorry the picture isn't clearer, again, I didn't realize .....I am really tired and lots of goofy things are happening......... *sigh*
