Oh my ears and whiskers! I have discovered that I only have three shows left! The good news is, I only have three shows left, the bad news is, I only have three shows left! I hope I can make them count! I worked on a lot of different embroideries this week. All sizes. My framer gave me all his odd stuff he made with ends of molding, so I had to get creative and fill them meaningfully. Some are even one inch by one inch. Those I filled with Wizard of Oz characters.
Yesterday, while listening to David Crowder Band cd "Remedy", my favorite is the last song, number 10, "Surely we can change". ......."where those are afraid-help them to be brave......surely we can do something".........I was able to finish quite a few pieces and get them printed. Here are some shots of my work in progress.....
All work goes smoother for me with a good cup of Starbucks coffee.........
Today, it's pretty rainy and gloomy so far........a good working day, however, I have to go set up a show this afternoon. It's an hour away, so, I try to set up as much as I can tonite, so less to do in the morning.
I am using vintage calendar art for this show, because it combines the craft show with antiques. A particularly pleasing match, for me, since I work in as much vintage things as possible. Strong toe has been working on clutches and purses with vintage fabric for me to take along, too.
So, this weekend, for me, I pray that Thread Counts...........
